Staff and Volunteers

Who Are We?

They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and at Kids Cause, our “village” of staff and volunteers work hard to remove barriers so that every child can meet his or her full potential. Here are just a few of the people who make it all happen.

Our Founders

In 1998, Joseph and Agatha Hulme lost their 10-year-old godson to gang violence. He was an innocent victim: He just had the misfortune to be living in a high-crime area, where his single mother had been forced to move him to just months before because she had lost her job and was struggling to make ends meet. The Hulmes were deeply saddened by this tragic loss, but they were also motivated to do something to protect other children, to help them in any way possible to grow into adults who could help to make the world a better place. Thus, Kids Cause was born.
